EVENT: Pro Watercross Hydroflight World Championships

DATES:  Friday – Sunday, October 27-29, 3017

TIMES:  10:00 am – 5:00 pm

The Pro Watercross Hydroflight World Championship and the Flyboard National Championship, features the best Hydroflight riders from around the world displaying an exhilarating range of skills during their freestyle battles. The riders will be judged by a jury of five professionals, who will crown a world champion and this final event is also the final competition in the US National Championships. The competition is free to the public.

EVENT: Pro Watercross Paddleboard – SUP at Sugden 

DATES:  Wednesday, November 1, 2017

TIMES:  3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Paddle Board changes the pace to man-power momentum, as stand-up paddleboards (SUP) take to the water for closed course racing around Avalon Lake. SUP races typically are a long straight course, but during the championship week, paddlers will take to the buoys course, making the same turns and straightaways as watercross racers, just at a vigorous but calming speed. 

EVENT: Pro Watercross Heyday Wake Boat Amateur Wakeboard Competition

Heyday Wake Boats have been on tour with Pro Watercross all season and have created quite the wake... ProWatercross presents the Naples Heyday Wake Boat Amateur Wakeboard Contest Wednesday Nov 1st. This event has teamed up with Kirby’s School of Wake to give you the awesome opportunity to get a practice ride and lesson on the day contest from pro wakeboarder and instructor Kirby Liesmann. This is a great way to get a feel for the wake or just come out for a fun wakeboarding or wakesurfing lesson. Lessons will be available from 9am – 1pm.

EVENT: MotoSurf World Cup Championship

Pro Watercross welcomes MotoSurf World Cup for it grand finale for the 2017 season. After traveling the globe these motorize surf boards produced by JetSurf will enhance the watercross weekend with motorsurfing, an entirely new sport, established in the Czech Republic this new sport is making its own waves tearing up the race course all over the world – Naples, FL USA is the climax of the 2017 Tour!

The Pro Watercross World Championship features the world's best powersports athletes as well as the up-and-coming men and women in the highly explosive and exciting sport of personal watercraft racing, also known as “Watercross”.  These riders from all over the world will utilize some of the most advanced equipment and technology to help their watercrafts reach speeds of over 85 miles-per-hour.  Throughout the week, riders will engage in a fierce battle of skill, technology and innovation on and off the water, combining the electricity and appeal of traditional beach events with the high-speed thrills of competitive motor sports - many relate this to Supercross on water…

Best of all, this is free to the public to watch, as well as live web streaming throughout the week and CBS Sports will be there filming for a one-hour TV show airing this October.

Spotlight on Naples, Florida: It is not often that a city, such as Naples, Florida and its community have the opportunity to be part of an emerging sport's leap from the national recognition into the international spotlight. Pro Watercross has been producing personal watercraft racing since 1995 and over the years the tour has grown to include participants from five different continents competing in tour stops throughout the USA.

CBS Sports: Pro Watercross World Championship's Pro finals will be aired on the CBS Sports Network. The thrill of watercross racing comes to a head as the top professional watercross competitors come together from all over the world. The CBS production crew will be part of the weeklong personal watercraft racing event which will start with amateur racing and flow into the final Pro weekend.

Media: Pro Watercross draws international, national, regional and local media publicity for its events. In addition to the CBS Sports production. National print and online magazines such as Pro Rider and Watercraft Journal will cover the event with articles read by their 100,000 + readers.
