IMPORTANT NOTE FROM PENSACOLA SPORTS:
Hello Pro Watercross Competitors!
We are pleased to welcome you to Pensacola Beach at the fifth year of the Pro Watercross National Tour! We hope that you enjoy your stay and make many unforgettable memories. To make sure that everybody has a blast, we have some information and rules that we need you to follow:
NO ALCOHOL OUTSIDE OF THE SAND AREA! “The ordinance restricts open containers in public areas of the commercial district of Pensacola Beach. It is illegal to consume or possess any alcoholic beverages in an open container in the public areas within the commercial district like sidewalks, boardwalks, roads and parking lots. It is permissible to have an open container on the sandy portions of the beach, except the “family area” of Casino Beach just west of the Pensacola Beach Fishing Pier”.
Camping is not permitted in the rider pit area/parking lot. Violators will be ticketed. Please contact Pensacola Beach RV Resort for overnight camping at (850) 932-4670 or a local hotel.
New Traffic Pattern in Beach Parking Lot – There is a new traffic pattern on the beach parking lot. ALL parking lot traffic must enter on the east side of the parking lot, near Sidelines Restaurant. Go through the light on the beach and enter your next right into the parking lot. There is also only one exit which is opposite the Public Safety building.
Unlicensed non-street legal vehicles (four wheelers, buggies) are not allowed on roads. Traffic violations will be enforced. Contact the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office to escort if you are planning on running your PWC in the Intercostal. Any ATV traffic on the beach must remain in the race footprint and must remain under 5 mph.
Leave No Trace Policy - tents, all beach items and trash must be removed from the beach each night. This means that tents are NOT PERMITTED to be left on the beach after racing has finished for the day. All abandoned items left behind after racing will be confiscated.
When entering/exiting the gulf, watercrafts must stay on the east side of the buoys next to the pier. This is for your and the fisherman’s safety and a condition for this event to take place.
Fuel must be stored in the designated storage areas at the beach and must be removed at the end of each day.
Good luck and we hope you enjoy your time on Pensacola Beach!

**WE WILL BE ADDING MORE HOTELS OVER THE NEXT WEEK.**
What is the advantage to pre-registering? Cost to you as a competitor... You will see that pre-register pricing is $100 for amateur classes, $75 for junior classes and $160 for Pro-Am classes.
Friday onsite registration will add $10 per class and Saturday morning registration will add $20 per class to the above prices.
Why the cost difference? To motivate you to pre-register... but beyond that, in order for Pro Watercross to be able to maintain these beautiful race sites for the tour, we need to be able to provide accurate reporting to our host cities, which includes how many hotels nights are used during the event weekend. We are working extremely hard to ensure that our competitors are receiving the best room rates available.
