INTERESTING TO KNOW

  • The Wind Point Lighthouse is one of the oldest and tallest active lighthouses on the Great Lakes. It was officially lit on November 15, 1880 and has never been dark for one night since then.
  • The gun John Dillinger used to rob the American Bank & Trust in downtown Racine in 1933 is now prominently displayed in the Racine Police Department.
  • The Top Three Kringle flavors sold are almond, pecan and raspberry. The seasonal flavors like Summer Shandy (with real beer!) and Brandy Old Fashioned (with real brandy!) are also very popular.
