As the ๐‹๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐ข ๐Œ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐จ ๐–๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐œ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐“๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ prepares for Round 3, the โ€œRoad to Havasuโ€ is heating up. Competition across all divisions has been fierce through the opening rounds in Florida and Texas. Here is a look at some of the current front-runners and the athletes to watch as we head into the next phase of the season.

In the ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ-๐Ÿ๐Ÿ divisions (both Lites and 4-S-L), ๐‚๐š๐ฌ๐ก ๐Œ๐œ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž of Chattanooga, TN, has established himself as the young man to beat. Currently riding a significant hot streak, McClure holds the top spot while ๐๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐๐ž๐ง ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ and ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐š๐ง ๐๐š๐ง๐ž remain locked in a tight battle for second. McClure looks to carry this momentum into Lake Havasu City AZ for Round 3 to extend his lead.

The ๐€๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฎ๐ซ ๐Ÿ’-๐’-๐‹ class sees ๐Š๐ฒ๐ฅ๐š ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฌ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ commanding the lead. However, she has no room for error with ๐‰๐š๐ฑ ๐‘๐จ๐ฐ๐ž and ๐‰๐š๐ฏ๐ข๐ž๐ซ ๐…๐š๐ฅ๐œ๐จ๐ง trailing closely in her wake, ready to capitalize on any opening.

In the ever-competitive ๐’๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐œ class there is a crankshaft rebuild on the line, donated by Competitive Crankshafts and currently we find ๐“๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐’๐ง๐ฒ๐๐ž๐ซ and ๐‰๐จ๐ž๐ฒ ๐Œ๐š๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง are currently tied for first. Both racers are competing on HXs, and we are looking forward to head-to-head matchup with that race and is expected to be some of the most technical and exciting of the tour.

Before we look at the Pro-Am ranks, here are some of the leaders currently pacing the field:

๐‚๐ฎ๐ซ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‹๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ

๐๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐’๐ค๐ข ๐‹๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ: Javier Falcon
Thomas Lambert
Shelby Warman
๐•๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ ๐Ž๐ฉ๐ž๐ง: Ryan Grant
Joshua Breaux
๐—๐Ÿ ๐Ž๐ฉ๐ž๐ง: Shannon Watson
Cooper Caldwell & Tory Snyder (Tied)
๐•๐ž๐ญ ๐’๐ค๐ข ๐†๐: Ryan Grant
๐‘๐ž๐œ ๐‹๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ: Easton Cross

The ๐๐ซ๐จ-๐€๐ฆ ๐†๐ stands as the largest and most prestigious class of the season so far, boasting a deep field of 14 elite entries.

The Leader: ๐๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐๐ž๐ง ๐’๐ž๐›๐›๐ž๐ง currently holds the #1 position. Traveling from the Northeast to dominate in the southern heat of Florida and Texas, Sebben has been โ€œon fireโ€ through the first two rounds.

The Contenders: ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐‹๐š๐ง๐๐ข๐ฌ, coming off a strong victory at the Sebring round, remains a primary threat. David Cabrera also continues his streak as a perennial top contender at all Pro Watercraft events.

The Wildcard: ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐‡๐จ๐ฉ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ฌ remains a major factor; despite being slowed by mechanical setbacks, Hopkinsโ€™ pace suggests he would likely be challenging for the top spot if not for technical issues.

The hunt for the championship continues as we move into ๐‘๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐ข๐ง ๐‹๐š๐ค๐ž ๐‡๐š๐ฏ๐š๐ฌ๐ฎ ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐€๐™, followed quickly by ๐‘๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ’ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ, ๐“๐—.

โ€œThe โ€˜Road to Havasuโ€™ is designed for maximum competition.

Under our new format, racers remain in the hunt even if they canโ€™t make every stop; we count only your top four finishes plus the Lake Havasu City finals toward your National points total. This ensures a fair and balanced title race, where skill and consistency take center stage over total miles traveled.โ€

Will the current leaders maintain their dominance, or will the desert heat and Texas waters crown new front-runners? Stay tuned to the official leaderboard for the latest updates.
